Jo graduated from the University of Queensland as an Occupational Therapist in 1989. Since then she has worked in a variety of rehabilitation and acute settings in Australia and overseas, until specializing in Hand Therapy in 1997. She completed her Masters in Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation in 2001 through Curtin University in Perth while working at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. After 7 years in the Hand Unit there, she moved to the EKCO Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation Unit where she continued to practice Hand Therapy. In June 2007, she opened her own practice at Toowoomba Hand Therapy which is based at St Vincent’s Hospital.
