Jo OSullivanJoanne O’Sullivan

PRINCIPLE ACCREDITED HAND THERAPIST
Jo graduated from the University of Queensland as an Occupational Therapist in 1989.  Since then she has worked in a variety of rehabilitation and acute settings in Australia and overseas, until specializing in Hand Therapy in 1997.  She completed her Masters in Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation in 2001 through Curtin University in Perth while working at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.  After 7 years in the Hand Unit there, she moved to the EKCO Hand and Upper Limb Rehabilitation Unit where she continued to practice Hand Therapy.  In June 2007, she opened her own practice at Toowoomba Hand Therapy which is based at St Vincent’s Hospital.

Sue WilliamsSue Williams

ACCREDITED HAND THERAPIST
Sue graduated from the University of Queensland as an Occupational Therapist in 1994 with first class Honours. Since then she has worked in both public and private settings in Ipswich and Toowoomba. Sue specialised in hand therapy in 1998 and completed further study in this area through Curtin University in Perth. In 2016 she completed a Graduate Certificate in Wound Management (Monash University). Sue currently works in a hand therapy caseload part-time at Toowoomba Base Hospital, and at Toowoomba Hand Therapy on a Monday and Wednesday.

Lachlan ShaddockLachlan Shaddock

ACCREDITED HAND THERAPIST
Lachie graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast as an Occupational Therapist in 2013. Upon graduating he has worked in a variety of community health settings on the Sunshine Coast mostly dealing in post-acute community care, before moving to Toowoomba in early 2015 to specialise in Hand Therapy. Since this time he has completed substantial post-graduate education through both the AHTA as well as the University of Derby Master’s program which lead to him achieving formal accreditation as a Hand Therapist in 2018. In 2017 Lachie presented to the Queensland Hand Surgery Society annual scientific meeting about current concepts in the conservative treatment of wrist injuries.

Emma FergusonEmma Ferguson

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Emma graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast as an Occupational Therapist in 2020. During her degree she gained experience in rehabilitation and community education settings. She has recently joined the team at Toowoomba Hand Therapy with a longstanding interest in hand therapy practice.

Alison HogerAlison Hoger

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Alison graduated from the University of Queensland as an Occupational Therapist with first class honours in 2006. After graduating Alison trained in Hand Therapy with Hands On Therapy in Brisbane, before returning to Toowoomba to work in various roles at the Toowoomba Hospital. She continues there part time working in hands, orthopaedics and chronic pain. Alison joined Toowoomba Hand Therapy in 2015 where she enjoys working on Tuesdays.

Nichola MartyrNichola Martyr

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Nichola has over 20 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist.  She has worked in a variety of areas including workplace injury management, neurological rehabilitation and lymphoedema/vascular management. She currently works part-time at Toowoomba Hand Therapy and has a special interest in fracture management.

Charlotte DormbuschCharlotte Dornbusch

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Charlotte graduated from the University of Queensland as an Occupational Therapist in 2017. During her degree she gained experience in geriatric neurological rehabilitation, paediatrics and workplace injury management.  Since graduating Charlotte has worked in the community and aged care sectors in Brisbane and wider surrounds. She has recently joined the team at Toowoomba Hand Therapy in 2019 on Thursday and Friday.

Christine TranChristine Tran

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Christine graduated from the University of Queensland as an Occupational Therapist in 2014. Upon graduating, Christine has worked in the community in a variety of settings, predominantly in the disability sector with both adult and paediatric caseloads. Christine continues her work within the community, and has recently joined Toowoomba Hand Therapy on a part time basis on Monday and Tuesday.

Narelle ByrneNarelle Byrne

PRACTICE MANAGER
Narelle comes to Toowoomba Hand Therapy with several years experience as an office manager and is the backbone of the office. She looks forward to assisting you with any queries.

Natalie WyattNatalie Wyatt

RECEPTION
Natalie has had several years experience in administration and currently works Fridays for Toowoomba Hand Therapy.
